First we start off by carding the wool with hand cards..then carefully learning how to twist and turn the spindle to make the yarn longer and longer yet. How to wash the final product will be discussed as will dyeing and the various plants, flowers and roots used in history to create the palette of colors that are so loved. The workshop will be taught by Liane Brown a native Santa Fean who has turned her life-long love of spinning and weaving into creatively designed products that are "!
